Women have so much on our plates, juggling a career, a partner, family, kids—making the time to learn to invest feels next to impossible. So what do we do when it comes to our hard-earned money? We give our power away to either:
1) A partner, hoping they make good decisions.
2) A money manager, who makes decisions for you.
3) No one. Just cross your fingers and hope for the best.
But hope-based strategies will never put YOU in the driver's seat. They leave you feeling:
*Afraid you won't have enough to live on in retirement.
*Anxious that you won't be able to afford education for your children or wondering how you'll get ahead.
*Confused by expert-jargon, making you feel like you'll never be able to feel confident investing yourself.
You are leaving serious money on the table in 2 ways: by not protecting your investments and by not taking opportunities that you can't even see. Hoping for the best = giving up all of your financial power.
If married, your partner may think he is good at investing, but if he makes a bad decision, that's your wealth at stake. That's stressful!
Money managers often fail to protect client's wealth. Instead of trusting them 100% with your life, you need to work with them in building it.
You are successful in your career, yet it still feels impossible to afford the life YOU WANT due to insane inflation in healthcare and education.
Parents didn't teach us. It was a man's game when we were growing up.
Experts advice is often too basic, too complicated, or too technical (stock picks and trades) when first you need to just see the forest through the trees!
You're busy and don't have time to learn a new, complicated topic.
Now, imagine that there is a way to learn it in only 15 minutes a day, where it's fun, easy, and afterward you're empowered to actively manage your own investments.
How?
An easy-to understand, yet comprehensive course that teaches you the basics of investing, taking you from confused to confident in less than 8 weeks!
My mission: Shortcut you to success.
Why me: Because I know exactly where you are. I had a 401K that I ignored and money sitting in a checking account making zero. I was at rock bottom and decided to learn. At one point I had 100% return in my investment portfolio, and I didn't take profits! I lost quite a bit of my profits, learning the hard way, and then spent hundreds of more hours learning why. My goal is to save you the time so you can be successful—what took me 7 years will take you 8 weeks.
The idea: Learn in small doses to get the maximum benfit with none of the overwhelm.

Here's a summary of what you'll learn each week:
We'll cover what the market is and how it behaves. We'll also review basic terms you need to know and review what the major indexes (S&P 500, Nasdaq) are so that you can get a pulse on the market but also compare index funds. You'll learn why defining your time horizon is so important and how to identify and navigate the business cycle and market cycles.
Learn what inflation is and how it affects your investments and understand how to diversify with the big picture in mind. We''ll dive into ways to diversify, the difference between ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) and Mutual Funds are and how to best compare them.
We continue diving into the various ways to diversify, learning all about US Treasuries and corporate bonds and the risks of each.
You'll learn about the types of investment accounts and the pros and cons of each, including tax implications. Get a handle on the two ways to analyze a stock (technical and fundamental analysis) and learn about financial ratios that will help you to evaluate if it's a good time to invest in a company. I'll show you how to look at a company’s financial statements (the easy way).
I'll help you develop your short list and show you how to conduct your financial research, map out your diversification strategy and walk you through how to set up an account. Understand why you should avoid things like options until you are much more advanced.
Open your mind to the key drivers of macroeconomics (the economic big picture) and how that affects your investments so you don't buy shares in a company at the wrong time. We'll review how different investments perform in different environments so you can navigate the shifts in the macro environment. Finally you'll learn about the reality of our debt-based financial system and how it actually works.
We’ll dive deeper into the Federal Reserve and how their attempts to set interest rates and control the money supply affects the economy (and the stock market). You'll learn the causes and risks of runaway inflation as well as the currency wars currently going on that could challenge the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.
Learn ways to manage your risk in the market. We'll cover traditional hedges like cash and gold, as well as risky but innovative investments like bitcoin and ethereum. You'll get a handle on the best ways to stay on top of the stock market so you have an idea of where it may be heading - that way you don't get caught off guard when things suddenly change. Finally, I'll give you my favorite resources and experts that I listen to daily and weekly so you can stay on top of the market like a pro well after this course ends.
Activites include quizzes and practical steps, great resources so that you will be well equipped to research stocks and companies on your own.
Videos available to you for 2 years so you can go back and reference them anytime.
Connect with peers and I'll post great interviews so you can stay on top of the current market.

Utilize cheat sheets to continue your investment strategies well after you finish this course.

I’ve been working in marketing for over 20+ years but was intimidated by the world of investing, a vast topic I knew nothing about. I was 40 and just had suffered a painful break up. I also felt deeply stuck on a managerial track, and was renting. I felt at rock bottom and alone, and I remember staring at the ceiling and asking myself - how am I ever going to change this trajectory and build the life that I want? I realized if I stayed doing the same thing, nothing would change. What can I do, I asked. I received two answers. Buy a place, the voice said, and learn to invest. And that's what I did. Slowly, I started moving my savings into a brokerage account. I paid for stock picks from the Motley Fool before graduating to other subscription services. Over time I doubled my money and felt like a rockstar only to see my returns shrink after the height of a few mini-bubbles in tech. (Things always return to the mean). I knew I was missing something important. So then I found "macro" where I spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours listening to Real Vision, Kitko News, Blockworks Macro and many others. I became obsessed. I knew I didn't have the last piece of the puzzle—how to stay on top of the market.
Investing is empowering. It gave me the financial freedom to leave a job I had outgrown and do what I love—educating others on how to invest! I wanted to create a relatable course that was holistic, comprehensive, yet simple. I believe everyone deserves financial freedom and wish you a life-long love affair with learning. Afterall, knowledge is power. Money is power. You deserve both.
I hope to see you in class!
